Hubbell - Questions about recent project delays

Curious to hear from anyone else at Hubbell, particularly those working on major product development or infrastructure projects. Over the past couple of quarters, I've noticed a significant slowdown in approvals and resource allocation for initiatives that were previously fast-tracked. We've had a couple of key projects get pushed back multiple times with vague explanations about 'strategic realignment' or 'market shifts.' It's starting to impact team morale and, frankly, my own confidence in where we're heading. Management keeps talking about innovation and growth, but the actions on the ground don't always seem to align. Is this a widespread issue across different divisions, or am I just in a department that's facing unique challenges? Trying to understand if this is a temporary blip or part of a larger, unstated shift within the company. Any perspectives would be appreciated.

I've definitely felt the ripple effect of these delays. It's tough when you're working hard on something and then it gets put on the back burner with little concrete information. The 'strategic realignment' talk is becoming a bit of a broken record. Hoping for more clarity soon, as it's hard to plan effectively when the goalposts keep moving.

Same here. The slowdown in approvals is palpable, and it's creating a bottleneck for a lot of innovation. While I understand that priorities can shift, the lack of transparency around *why* is what's most frustrating. It makes it hard to stay motivated and feel like the hard work is leading anywhere concrete.
