Hubbell - Signs of a slowdown in the pipeline?

Hey everyone, I've been with Hubbell for a few years now, and lately, I've noticed a definite shift. The projects we're bidding on seem fewer and further between, and the ones we are getting are often smaller in scope or have tighter margins. It's making me a little antsy, to be honest. My manager's been pretty tight-lipped, just saying 'stay focused' and 'deliver on current commitments,' which is standard, but the general vibe feels different. We used to have a pretty robust backlog, but it feels like that's not as solid as it once was. Anyone else in other divisions or product lines seeing something similar? Is this just a seasonal dip, or are we looking at a broader market slowdown affecting Hubbell specifically? Curious to hear what others are observing.

I've been in a similar boat across the industry. It feels like clients are holding their breath a bit, maybe waiting for more certainty on interest rates or supply chain stability before committing to larger projects. The 'stay focused' message is probably just standard practice to keep morale up, but I agree, the quiet can be unsettling. Hopefully, it's just a temporary lull and not indicative of a deeper issue. I'm keeping an eye on competitor activity and broader economic indicators myself.
