Another round of cuts while we hit record volume

It’s genuinely laughable that we’re sitting here seeing 214 people get the axe while the workload hasn't decreased by a single percent. My team is drowning in tickets, and now we’re expected to absorb the fallout from the Louisville layoffs on top of our existing backlog. How does the math work here? They talk about 'streamlining' in the quarterly town halls, but the actual operations are just becoming a dumpster fire. I’m tired of the corporate speak masking the fact that they’re just shaving off headcount to appease shareholders while the rest of us are left to pick up the slack without any additional support. If you were one of the ones caught in this, take the severance and run. Don't look back at this place. It’s clear that 'people first' is just a slogan they put on the lobby wall and nothing more. Counting down the days until I can exit this circus for good.

Same boat here. It’s absolutely demoralizing to watch them trim the headcount while the volume metrics keep climbing. They keep preaching about efficiency and 'doing more with less,' but in reality, they are just burning out the people who actually keep the lights on. Leadership is completely disconnected from the daily reality of the workload. At this point, I’m just waiting for the next round of cuts because the math definitely isn’t adding up, and quality is going to tank.

I honestly don’t know how they expect us to sustain this. Every quarterly update is just more corporate buzzwords designed to distract us from the fact that we’re being pushed to our breaking point. It’s not 'streamlining' when the systems are failing and the backlog is endless. Watching colleagues get pushed out while our queues grow longer is just gut-wrenching. They clearly value the balance sheet more than the workforce, and it’s become impossible to take the internal communications seriously anymore.
