Humana - Anyone else feel the budget cuts coming?

Walking through Humana the last few weeks, it feels... different. Travel has been severely restricted for non-essential trips, training budgets are apparently slashed, and there's been a noticeable slowdown in approving new software/tools, even for things we desperately need. On top of that, a couple of my colleagues mentioned their performance goals have been quietly adjusted downwards, which is a weird move if things are supposed to be stable. I haven't seen any official announcements about layoffs, but this feels like the classic precursor. Is this just my department's experience, or are others at Humana seeing similar signs of belt-tightening? Curious if anyone has heard anything concrete or has a different take on what's going on. Trying not to panic, but the vibe is definitely off.

I've been noticing similar trends myself. The general atmosphere feels tighter, and those small things like travel and new tool approvals definitely seem to be under more scrutiny. It's concerning, especially when we're trying to innovate and stay efficient. Wondering if this is a company-wide strategy or specific to certain departments. It's definitely a conversation worth having openly.

It’s not just you. I’ve heard similar whispers across different teams about budget constraints. The lowered performance goals are particularly odd. It suggests a need to manage expectations downward, which is never a great sign for growth or investment. Hoping for some clarity soon, as uncertainty breeds anxiety for everyone.
