Anyone else at Humana feel like we're in a perpetual state of 'efficiency drives' and 'optimization'? It feels like every quarter there's some new initiative designed to 'streamline' operations, which usually translates to more work for fewer people or just general confusion. I'm not talking about the big WARN notice layoffs specifically, but the day-to-day grind. Are managers setting unrealistic productivity targets? Is there a sense that the company is constantly looking for ways to cut costs, even if it impacts morale and workflow? Just curious to hear if others are experiencing this same undercurrent of pressure. It's hard to feel secure when you see these constant pushes for 'more with less'.
