Humana workload increasing, headcount static?

Is it just me or has the workload at Humana ramped up significantly in the last quarter, but headcount seems to be flat or even slightly down in some areas? Feels like we're being asked to do more with less, and the pressure is definitely mounting. It's not quite a 'squeeze' yet, but the efficiency expectations are through the roof. Wondering if this is a company-wide push or specific to certain divisions. Trying to understand if this is a precursor to anything, or just the new normal. Anyone else feeling this strain and have any insights?

I'm seeing the same thing. It feels like the expectations for what we can accomplish in a day have gone up considerably, but there haven't been any corresponding additions to the team. It's making it tough to keep up with everything, and I'm worried about burnout if this continues. I've heard similar complaints from colleagues in different departments, so it doesn't seem isolated. Curious to hear if anyone has heard any official word about staffing plans or efficiency targets.

Yeah, the pressure is definitely on. It's like they're expecting us to magically become more productive without giving us the resources to do it. I'm wondering if this is a strategic move to streamline operations or if they're anticipating a need to cut costs down the line. Either way, it's not a sustainable path if quality of work or employee well-being starts to suffer. Hopefully, management has a plan that addresses this imbalance.
