Huntington - Anyone Else's Team Feeling the Squeeze?

Checking in from Huntington. Been here a while and things feel... off. We haven't had any official announcements, but it feels like the pressure is mounting. Workload is definitely increasing, and there's a lot more emphasis on efficiency and 'doing more with less.' Some roles are being consolidated, and I've heard whispers about voluntary separation packages being offered in certain departments, though nothing confirmed. It's hard to ignore the signs when you see performance metrics being scrutinized more intensely and fewer resources allocated to new initiatives. My manager is being cagey when asked about future plans, just repeating corporate talking points. Anyone else experiencing this? Just trying to gauge if this is a company-wide thing or if it's isolated to certain divisions. Don't want to panic, but it's definitely on my mind.

I'm at Huntington too, and I've definitely noticed the shift. The 'do more with less' mantra seems to be the company line these days. While I haven't seen any direct consolidations in my area, the increased focus on metrics and productivity is palpable. It's creating a more intense environment, and you can feel the underlying tension. Hoping it's just a cycle and not a sign of bigger issues to come.

This resonates with what I'm hearing. The talk about efficiency and 'optimizing' is constant. Even if nothing official is announced, the subtle changes in workflow and the increased pressure on results are hard to miss. It makes you wonder what the long-term plan is. Keep an eye on those performance dashboards – they tend to tell a story before any official word gets out.
