Anyone else at Huntington picking up on weird vibes lately? I've been hearing a lot of whispers about 'realigning resources' and 'streamlining operations.' Doesn't sound great, honestly. My team's workload has been increasing, but we haven't seen any new hires, and the official line is always 'we're looking for talent.' It's starting to feel like they're squeezing more out of fewer people. Saw that post about a hiring freeze and it definitely resonates. Curious if anyone has concrete info or has seen anything specific happening in their departments. Feels like we're on the cusp of something, and I'm not sure if it's good or bad.

Yeah, I'm definitely feeling it too. The 'realigning resources' talk has been going around my department for weeks. We've been told it's about efficiency, but the result is more work for the same (or less) staff. It's tough to stay motivated when you feel like you're just being stretched thinner and thinner. The hiring freeze rumors are also making me nervous about job security, even though management keeps saying things are fine.
