IDEXX - Anyone else feeling the squeeze?

Hey everyone, been seeing a lot of chatter on here about general economic slowdown and how it's impacting tech and other industries. Wanted to check in specifically with my IDEXX folks. Has anyone noticed any changes in workload, project scope, or even hiring freezes on their teams? We haven't had any official announcements or anything, but I've been feeling a definite shift in the air lately. More emphasis on 'efficiency' and 'optimizing resources,' which sometimes feels like a softer way of saying 'do more with less.' Curious if this is just my department or a wider trend within the company. Are people being asked to pick up extra responsibilities? Are projects being put on hold? Just trying to gauge the general sentiment and see if others are feeling this pressure too. Wouldn't mind hearing about how teams are managing, or if there's any talk about potential future impacts.

I've definitely noticed the talk about 'efficiency' too. On my end, we're being asked to do more with less, and some projects that were high priority are now on the back burner. It's creating a bit of pressure to deliver more without any additional resources, which can be frustrating. Still, the company seems stable, so hopefully, it's just a temporary adjustment phase.

Yeah, the 'efficiency' push is real. We've had a couple of roles frozen that were supposed to be backfilled, and there's a general sense of caution with any new spending. Workload hasn't drastically increased for me personally, but the *perception* of urgency and the need to justify every expense is definitely higher. It makes you wonder what's really going on behind the scenes.
