IDEXX Diagnostics - Management talk vs. reality?

So, leadership is giving the usual "we're strong, resilient, focusing on innovation" talk, which is great. But on the ground, it feels a bit different. My manager is being super cagey about Q4/Q1 plans, and we're being asked to "do more with less" more often than not. There's been a noticeable ramp-up in performance reviews and metrics tracking, which sometimes feels like a precursor to something. I'm not seeing direct layoff news, but the underlying signals are making me nervous. Are others experiencing this disconnect between the official narrative and the day-to-day operational reality? Feels like we're being prepped for something, and I'm trying to figure out what. Anyone else in Diagnostics feeling this pressure?

I've noticed similar mixed signals. The company-wide messaging is definitely optimistic, but the day-to-day pressure seems to be increasing. My team is also being pushed to be more efficient without significant new resources, and the heightened focus on metrics feels a bit intense. It's hard to reconcile the broad statements about growth with the granular reality of trying to meet ever-higher targets. Hoping it's just a phase of operational adjustment and not something more.

Same here. While leadership emphasizes stability, the atmosphere locally feels like a tightening of the belt. My manager is also being very tight-lipped about future projects, and the emphasis on individual performance tracking has definitely ramped up. It creates a sense of unease when you're being asked to achieve more with fewer resources. I'm trying not to jump to conclusions, but the constant pressure and lack of transparency about what's next are definitely a cause for concern among colleagues too.
