Illinois Tool Works - Anyone seeing hiring freezes or project slowdowns?

Hey everyone, been with ITW for a few years now and things have always felt pretty stable. Lately though, I'm noticing a lot more chatter about projects getting delayed, requisitions for new roles sitting open for ages, and a general feeling of 'belt-tightening' across a few divisions I interact with. Management's been pretty quiet, no official word on anything, but the vibe feels different. Is anyone else picking up on this? Are there specific business units that are feeling it more than others? Curious if this is just a general economic downturn affecting everyone, or if ITW is doing some internal reshuffling. Just trying to get a pulse on what's happening internally. Any insights would be appreciated.

I've been with ITW for a while too and definitely feel a shift. We haven't had any official announcements, but the pace on some key initiatives has noticeably slowed. It's not just delayed requisitions; some internal transfers are being put on hold indefinitely, which is unusual for us. It's causing some frustration, as folks were expecting to move into new roles. Curious to hear if others in different segments are experiencing the same, or if it's more localized to certain areas.
