ITW - Anyone else seeing slower hiring?

Hey everyone, lurking here for a bit and wanted to see if anyone else working at or interviewing with ITW is noticing a slowdown in hiring or a longer interview process lately? I've been through a couple of rounds for a role I'm really interested in, and it feels like things have stalled a bit. Not sure if it's just this specific division or a broader trend. Just want to get a pulse check from others. Any insights on what's going on behind the scenes would be appreciated.

Yeah, I've noticed something similar. Applied for a position a few weeks back and the timeline seems much longer than it was for my previous roles there. It's hard to say if it's a company-wide thing or just certain departments. Maybe they're being more selective, or perhaps there's some internal restructuring happening that's slowing things down. Hopefully, it's just a temporary lag and not a sign of a major hiring freeze.

Interesting that you're seeing this too. I've been in the interview process for a while now, and it definitely feels like a drawn-out affair. The communication has been a bit sparse after the initial rounds, which is unusual for ITW from my experience. Could be a sign of economic uncertainty leading to a more cautious approach to filling positions, or maybe they're just trying to find the absolute perfect candidate. Either way, it's definitely a different pace than I expected.
