Mendota site cutbacks - is this the start of a trend?

So the WARN notice finally dropped for the Division St plant. Seven people gone as of the 9th. It’s a small number in the grand scheme of ITW’s massive footprint, but it definitely kills the mood on the floor. Anyone else hearing whispers about further consolidation across the Illinois sites? Management keeps talking about 'operational efficiency' and 'streamlining,' which is usually code for 'start updating your resume.' I’ve been here a few years and the atmosphere has shifted noticeably since the start of Q1. I'm trying to figure out if this is just a localized adjustment or if corporate is prepping for a larger restructuring effort later this year. If you’re at another facility, are you seeing any signs of headcount tightening, or is it business as usual? Just trying to gauge if I should be worried about my own desk or if Mendota was an isolated incident.
