Anyone else feeling the pressure? Slowdowns and 'efficiency' drives at Instacart.

Lately, it feels like Instacart is really cracking down on everything. My team's been given new 'efficiency metrics' that seem impossible to hit without cutting corners, and project timelines are getting tighter and tighter. Been hearing from folks in other departments that there's been a slowdown in new initiatives and a focus on 'optimizing existing resources.' Sounds like corporate speak for 'doing more with less,' which usually means fewer people down the line. Anyone else experiencing this? It's not overt layoffs, but the constant pressure and lack of clear communication is making me nervous. Feels like a pre-layoff environment.

Yeah, I'm definitely feeling it too. The new metrics are brutal, and it feels like we're constantly being pushed to rush through orders. It's not sustainable, and honestly, it's starting to impact the quality of service. I've seen fewer shoppers out there, and the ones who are seem stressed. I hope leadership recognizes that this approach isn't good for the shoppers or the customers in the long run. It's a shame because I used to really enjoy this gig, but it's becoming a grind.
