I haven't heard anything concrete about layoffs myself, but it wouldn't be surprising given the current economic climate. Many tech companies are tightening their belts. My cousin works in a logistics role at Instacart and mentioned some restructuring was being discussed, but they didn't use the word 'layoffs'. They did say there's a lot of uncertainty and people are definitely anxious. It could be a departmental shuffle or a re-evaluation of roles rather than outright job cuts, but who knows for sure until something is announced. Let's hope it's not as bad as some people fear.
