ICE - Performance Review Season and Uncertainty

So, performance review season is upon us. Beyond the usual stress of ratings and feedback, is anyone else feeling a bit more anxious this year at ICE? With the economic outlook being what it is, I'm bracing myself for potentially less generous bonuses, but also wondering if this review cycle might be used to identify roles that are considered less critical. I know there haven't been any official announcements, and I'm trying not to spiral, but the lack of clarity on future headcount goals or strategic shifts is making it hard to feel secure. Has anyone gotten any hints from management about how this review cycle might tie into broader organizational adjustments? Trying to gauge if my current performance is truly valued or if I should be dusting off the resume just in case.

Yeah, I'm right there with you. Performance reviews always add a layer of tension, but this year feels amplified. The economic headwinds are undeniable, and while I'm hoping for the best regarding compensation, the thought of potential role restructuring is definitely in the back of my mind. It's tough when there's so much uncertainty and not a lot of concrete information coming down from leadership about the broader strategy or headcount. Just trying to focus on delivering strong results and hoping that speaks for itself.
