Anyone else seeing weird internal buzz at IP?

Hey folks, been with International Paper for a few years now, mostly in the materials division. Lately, there's been this low hum of unease around the office. Nothing concrete, no official announcements, but a lot of hushed conversations, some project re-prioritizations that feel a little… urgent? Management's been pretty tight-lipped, which isn't unusual, but it's the *type* of silence that feels different this time. It's not just the usual "we're focused on Q3" kind of quiet. Has anyone else picked up on anything similar, or am I just overthinking the usual corporate jitters? Curious to hear if others are feeling this or if it's just my department/site picking up on something. Trying to stay ahead of the curve if possible, but frankly, it's making me a bit anxious.

Yeah, I've noticed some of that too, though maybe not in my specific area. It's definitely more palpable than usual. The vague directives and shifting priorities are making it tough to plan ahead. Interesting you bring this up. I've been hearing similar whispers, mostly about cost-saving measures starting to trickle down. Some smaller teams have been consolidated, and there's been a pause on a few non-essential upgrades.
