Hey everyone, been seeing a lot of chatter online and hearing whispers around the water cooler here at IP Materials about potential cutbacks. Nothing concrete, no official announcements, but the vibe feels... off. Sales numbers aren't exactly stellar, and some departments seem to be under more pressure than usual. Has anyone else in Materials at IP noticed anything similar? Or is this just the general market volatility getting to us? Wondering if it's worth updating the resume just in case, or if we're just overthinking things. Curious to hear what others are experiencing or hearing.

Yeah, I've been getting the same feeling. It's hard to ignore the quiet that's fallen over some areas, and the way projects are being scrutinized feels a lot more intense lately. It's not just the market, I don't think. Management seems a bit more on edge too, which usually signals something is brewing behind the scenes. I'm not hitting the panic button yet, but I've definitely started dusting off my LinkedIn profile and keeping an eye on opportunities. Better safe than sorry in this environment, right?
