International Paper Materials - How are things really going post-layoffs?

With the recent WARN notices out of Michigan and Virginia, I'm curious about the current atmosphere within IP Materials. For those still there, or who were impacted, what's the general feeling? Are teams stretched thin? Is there a lot of uncertainty about future roles or the company's direction? I've seen a couple of titles about leadership and the general vibe, but these recent layoff numbers seem more concrete. Trying to understand if this is a sign of bigger issues or isolated events. Any honest takes on workload, morale, or management's communication would be helpful for anyone considering their future or just trying to understand the landscape.

It's tough to say definitively from the outside, but the WARN notices are definitely concerning and suggest there's more than just isolated restructuring happening. The industry is facing significant pressures, and it wouldn't be surprising if IP Materials is feeling the pinch more acutely. Hopefully, those still employed can navigate the uncertainty, but the atmosphere is likely tense. It's understandable why people are worried about job security and the company's long-term strategy given these events. Many are probably looking for any signs of stability or a clear path forward.
