Hey everyone in IP Materials. Seeing a lot of chatter on other company forums about potential 'organizational realignments' and 'efficiency drives.' Figured I'd check in here to see if anyone's hearing anything similar, even as a rumor, for our division. It's not just budget talks anymore; some of the language feels a bit more... final. Workload feels up, but headcount seems stagnant or even decreasing in some teams. Is anyone else getting that feeling of 'something's coming' but nobody's saying anything concrete? Just trying to gauge the temperature before things potentially heat up. Anyone have intel from their managers or higher-ups, even veiled hints? Curious to hear what others are seeing or hearing, even if it's just gut feelings.

I've definitely noticed the same subtle shifts. The 'efficiency drives' sound like corporate speak for 'we're looking to cut costs.' It's unnerving when the language starts sounding more decisive. My team's workload has been consistently increasing, and it's hard not to connect that with a lack of new hires or even some departures. Just hoping whatever happens, it doesn't drastically impact our ability to get the job done effectively.
