IP Materials - What's the latest compensation outlook?

Been grinding away at International Paper in the materials side for a while now. My last review was decent, but I'm hearing whispers from friends at other companies about significant bumps, especially in specialized roles within materials science and engineering. Wondering what the general sentiment is for compensation updates at IP. Are raises keeping pace with inflation and market demand, or is it more of a flat landscape? Any insights from recent performance reviews or anecdotal evidence about salary negotiations would be super helpful. Trying to gauge if my current package is competitive or if I should be thinking about exploring other options based on market rates. Not looking for exact numbers, just a general feel for where IP stands right now in the materials sector compensation-wise.

Heard similar rumblings. It feels like compensation across the board is a bit stagnant, especially compared to some of the tech-adjacent sectors or even other traditional manufacturing giants that are really pushing for talent. While IP is stable, I'm not seeing the kind of aggressive increases that would truly outpace inflation or match what specialized engineers are getting elsewhere. Hoping for some positive movement in the next cycle, but keeping expectations realistic.
