Intuitive Surgical - Morale dip post-earnings?

Anyone else feel like the energy at Intuitive Surgical has taken a hit recently, especially after the last earnings call? The numbers were decent, but the commentary around future growth seemed a bit less enthusiastic than usual. I'm in [Department Name - e.g., R&D/Sales/Operations] and the buzz around new projects feels muted. We're still working hard, obviously, but the usual sense of rapid expansion and optimism seems to have been replaced by a more conservative outlook. Conversations in the breakroom and on Slack channels often circle back to 'what's next?' and 'are we secure?' which is never a great sign. I understand the market is dynamic, and MedTech isn't immune to pressures. But it feels like there's a distinct anxiety creeping in. It’s not about specific layoff rumors, but more about a general feeling that things might be slowing down or re-prioritizing in ways that could impact roles down the line. Anyone else experiencing this? Any insights from leadership or department heads that might explain this shift in atmosphere? Just trying to gauge the general sentiment.

I've noticed it too, especially in the way forward-looking statements are being framed. It feels like a shift from aggressive expansion to solidifying current market position. While stability is good, that previous, almost relentless optimism was a huge motivator. Hope it's a temporary recalibration rather than a sign of fundamental challenges ahead.

Could be the market realities catching up. We've had incredible growth for years, and maybe hitting certain plateaus, even positive ones, naturally changes the 'buzz'. The focus might be shifting to efficiency and profitability in the next phase. Still a leader, just maybe a more seasoned one now.
