Invesco - Anyone else dealing with the 'new normal' of reduced resources?

Been at Invesco for a few years now, and lately, it feels like we're constantly being asked to do more with less. Budgets for travel, training, even basic office supplies seem to be getting tighter. This isn't just a rumor, it's a daily reality. I'm wondering if this is a company-wide trend or if specific departments are being hit harder. The lack of clarity is really frustrating. Are they prepping for something bigger? I haven't seen any official layoff announcements, but the atmosphere feels heavy with uncertainty. Just wanted to see if others are experiencing the same thing and what your thoughts are on the direction things are heading. Feels like we're on shaky ground.

I've noticed a similar vibe in my team at Invesco. It's definitely a challenge trying to maintain productivity and engagement when the resources feel stretched thin. The lack of communication about the 'why' behind these cuts is definitely adding to the stress. Hoping for more transparency soon, or at least a clearer roadmap for how we're expected to navigate these leaner times without sacrificing quality or our own well-being.

Totally feel this. It seems like the 'do more with less' mantra is the unofficial company slogan these days. It's creating a sense of unease, and honestly, it's making it harder to focus on the actual work. I keep wondering if this is a strategic move or if something else is going on behind the scenes. It would be helpful to understand the bigger picture instead of just reacting to budget cuts as they come.
