Anyone else noticing a freeze on requisitions at Jacobs?

Hey everyone, Been at Jacobs for a few years now, and lately, something feels off. I've noticed our team's reqs for new hires have been on hold for a while, and I haven't seen any new positions posted internally or externally that aren't for backfills. My manager is being super cagey when I ask about hiring freezes or budget reviews. It's making me a little nervous about the overall health of the business and potential future cuts, even though there's been no official word. Anyone else in different departments seeing the same thing? Or am I just overthinking this? Curious to hear if others are feeling this vibe too. Trying not to panic, but the silence is deafening.

Yeah, I've definitely noticed a slowdown in hiring approvals here too. It's frustrating not getting a clear answer from leadership. Makes it hard to plan and recruit effectively when things are so uncertain. Hopefully, it's just a temporary budget adjustment and not a sign of bigger issues.

I'm seeing something similar on my end. The silence around hiring is pretty deafening. I've heard whispers about restructuring, but nothing concrete. It's a tough environment when you're trying to grow teams and can't even get a headcount approved. Let's hope for some transparency soon.
