Jacobs: Is anyone else hearing whispers about budget cuts?

Hey everyone, Been working at Jacobs for a few years now, mostly on the engineering side. Lately, there's been a weird vibe in the air. It's not anything official, no announcements or anything, but I've noticed a few things that have me a bit concerned. Projects that seemed solid are suddenly being put on hold or scaled back. There's a lot more talk about "efficiency" and "streamlining" in meetings, which usually translates to something less than ideal for headcount. My manager has been cagey when asked about future work and staffing levels. It feels like a general slowdown is happening, but without any concrete information, it's hard to know what to think.
