Performance Review Season & Recent Departures

Anyone else feel like this performance review cycle is... intense? Beyond the usual pressure, there's a palpable sense of anxiety around. Coupled with the recent layoffs, it feels like people are just waiting for the axe to fall. I've seen a few people get the boot already, not even from the big WARN notice, but smaller, unexpected exits. It makes you wonder what the criteria are and if 'meeting expectations' is even good enough anymore. Trying to stay positive and focus on my work, but it's hard when the ground feels so shaky. Anyone else in a similar boat or have insights into the internal situation?
