Hey everyone. So, I haven't seen any official announcements or anything concrete, but I've been picking up on some weird vibes around here lately. Been with Jacobs for a few years now, and things felt pretty stable. Lately, though, there's been a lot of talk in the break room, and some hushed conversations in Teams channels that are making me nervous. It's mostly about 'restructuring' and 'efficiency gains,' which, let's be honest, usually means one thing. I'm not trying to start a panic, but I'm wondering if anyone else is picking up on this or has heard anything more substantial? My workload hasn't changed drastically, but there's a definite sense of unease. Management is being super tight-lipped, which, again, isn't exactly reassuring. Just trying to gauge if this is a widespread feeling or if I'm just overthinking things. Any insights or similar experiences would be appreciated. Trying to stay informed without jumping to conclusions.

Hang in there. It's completely understandable to feel uneasy when you hear those kinds of buzzwords floating around, especially when there's no clear communication. I've been in similar situations at other companies, and it always creates a cloud of uncertainty. Try to focus on your current projects and do your best work; sometimes, that's the only thing we can control. Hopefully, more concrete information will be shared soon.

I hear you. That feeling of dread when 'restructuring' and 'efficiency' come up is all too familiar. It's frustrating not knowing what's going on. I've found that sometimes these things blow over without major impact, but other times they do lead to changes. Keeping an ear out and staying visible with your contributions is probably the best approach right now. Stay positive!
