Is Smucker's leadership steering the ship correctly?

Curious to hear from others about the strategic direction at J.M. Smucker. We've seen a lot of portfolio shifts and brand divestitures recently, which I get in theory, but the execution and communication around it have been a bit shaky, at least from my perspective on the ground. Are these moves really setting us up for long-term success, or are they just shuffling deck chairs? Feels like we're a bit adrift sometimes, and I'm wondering if the current leadership has a clear, compelling vision that's resonating throughout the organization. Would love to hear other people's takes, especially those who've been here longer. Is this just the nature of the consumer goods industry right now, or is there something specific to Smucker's approach that feels off?

The recent divestitures are definitely a hot topic. It feels like a necessary pivot given the changing consumer landscape, but the uncertainty is palpable. I'm hoping these strategic shifts, like focusing on pets and coffee, really pay off in the long run. Time will tell if the new direction leads to stronger growth and innovation, or if it's just a temporary fix. Keeping an eye on how they integrate and leverage their core brands moving forward.
