Stagnant performance and internal pressure

Does anyone else feel like the integration goals are falling flat? I look around the floor and it feels like we’re running in circles trying to justify our existence while the higher-ups juggle these strategy shifts. Morale is at an all-time low in my department. We are constantly told we’re 'pivoting,' but it just feels like we’re waiting for the other shoe to drop. I’ve seen enough cycles like this in the CPG industry to know that when they stop talking about growth and start obsessing over 'resource optimization,' a layoff announcement isn't far behind. I’m already polishing my resume because I’d rather jump ship now than get caught in whatever cost-cutting exercise is being cooked up for the end of the quarter. Is anyone else looking to get out while the market is still decent?

I’ve been tracking the recent shifts and it’s honestly discouraging. The constant buzzwords about synergy and pivoting are just corporate window dressing for a lack of real direction. When leadership is more concerned with rearranging the deck chairs than fixing the product pipeline, it’s clear the stagnation is structural, not cyclical. Most of us are just counting down the days until the next round of restructuring, and it’s exhausting to pretend that 'integration' is going to magically fix a company that has clearly lost its way.

You aren't the only one seeing it. The internal culture has shifted from building a legacy to playing a high-stakes game of corporate survival. It feels like every quarter we’re chasing a new metric while the actual quality of operations suffers under the weight of bureaucracy. People are tired of being treated like puzzle pieces in some executive's failing growth strategy. The silence from the top regarding the actual impact on the floor speaks volumes. It’s definitely time to keep your resume polished.
