Yeah, I hear you. Been at JPM for 10+ years and this 'efficiency' talk always ramps up before something happens. They're masters of corporate speak, so 'resource allocation' probably means layoffs or restructuring. Honestly, this happens every year. They always talk about cutting costs, but it rarely amounts to anything drastic, unless you're in a truly redundant role. Seven years in Ops is solid; you've got valuable experience. Instead of jumping ship, maybe try to identify ways your team can genuinely improve efficiency – make yourself indispensable. Show them you're part of the solution, not the problem. Could even lead to a promotion.
