Just saw the news about JPMC having layoffs on July 10th. Anyone else in Jersey City feeling the pressure? It's unsettling to see these numbers pop up, especially when you're still on the hook. Feels like a lot of uncertainty lately, even with the 'all clear' messages we sometimes get. Wondering if this is a targeted thing or a broader cut. Hard to get a straight answer from management, as usual. Anyone have insights into what teams or departments might be affected? Trying to stay positive but it's tough when the rug feels like it could be pulled out any minute. Just want to know if I should be polishing the resume or if it's business as usual. The silence is deafening.

Yeah, I saw that too. It's definitely unnerving, especially when you're still finding your footing. Management's silence is pretty standard, unfortunately. Makes you wonder what's really going on behind the scenes. I'm trying to focus on my own work, but it's hard not to feel a bit anxious when you hear about these kinds of things. Just hoping it doesn't trickle down to my area. Stay strong, hopefully it passes over quickly.
