Seeing the paperwork for the Dec 19th filing pop up finally. It looks like another slice of the corporate structure got hit. For those of you who were let go or have colleagues who were, was this targeted at specific business units or was it a broader sweep across the NY operations? I’m hearing conflicting rumors about whether this was purely overhead reduction or if it impacted R&D and supply chain planning roles too. It feels like the silence from HR is the worst part—just a generic email and then 'poof' your badge doesn't work. If you were part of the group impacted by the 12/19 notice, could you share if they offered any outplacement services? Just trying to gauge the temperature for those of us still sweating it out in our cubicles. Hope everyone finds something better quickly, this industry is getting exhausting.

Honestly, the lack of communication is standard procedure at this point, but it doesn't make it any easier to swallow. I have friends in planning who got the news yesterday, so it’s definitely not restricted to just the corporate office or admin roles. It feels like they are clearing house to make the balance sheet look better before the end of the fiscal year. Don't expect any real answers from leadership; they’ve already moved on to the next quarterly strategy while the rest of us are left trying to pick up the pieces.
