Feeling the squeeze in Sales/Supply Chain

I’m tired of the corporate speak. We just got another email about 'synergies' and 'streamlining our Go-to-Market strategy' and all it translates to in my department is more work with zero extra resources. My inbox is flooded with people asking why their orders are delayed, but I’ve been told we can’t backfill the two roles that went vacant last month. If they aren't planning a layoff, why are we running so lean that people are burning out? I’ve seen this playbook before at other CPG firms—they run you into the ground, freeze hiring, and then announce a 'restructuring' where they cut the people who are actually holding the operation together. Just venting, but if you’re looking for a reason to update your resume, this seems like as good a time as any. Watch your backs.

That sounds exactly like the KDP culture I’m familiar with. They love to push the 'synergy' narrative while the warehouse and logistics teams are drowning. It’s a classic move: trim the budget until the operation is hanging by a thread, then call it efficiency. You’re definitely not alone in feeling like you're carrying the weight of two people. If you’ve seen this playbook before, you know it rarely ends with them hiring more staff, so please prioritize your own mental health over their impossible KPIs.
