Just saw the official notification for the 268 positions impacted in the Monroe/Tompkinsville areas. It’s brutal. I know a couple of people who were part of this group, and they had absolutely no heads-up before their access was cut. For those of you still sitting in your seats wondering if you're safe, look closely at the documentation provided in your severance packages if you get one. Don't sign anything immediately—take it to a lawyer if you have any questions about the terms. It’s frustrating to see the company continue to slash headcount while the C-suite talks about growth in the annual reports. To everyone who was let go today, I’m sorry. This industry is ruthless, and you deserve better than a sudden offboarding after years of service. If anyone has details on whether this is the final wave for the year or if more departments are being reviewed, please post below.

This is absolutely devastating news for those affected. Losing a job without any warning is a nightmare, especially in this economy. I hope everyone caught in this round of cuts reaches out to their network immediately. Regarding the severance, the advice to pause and consult an attorney is spot on. Never feel pressured to sign a release on the spot, no matter how much they urge you to do it. Take your time, breathe, and make sure you aren't signing away rights that could actually benefit you later.

Same old story with this firm. They talk about efficiency and cost-cutting while completely disregarding the lives of the people who actually built their operations. It’s a cold way to treat employees who have given years of their time to the company. If you're still working there, start dusting off your resume today because loyalty clearly doesn't buy you any job security here. Keep your head down, update your LinkedIn, and start looking for a workplace that actually treats its staff like human beings rather than just line items on a spreadsheet.
