Is the morale reaching a breaking point?

Serious question for those still in the trenches: how are you keeping your head up? Between the quiet hiring freezes and these targeted layoffs popping up across the footprint, it’s hard to focus on day-to-day work. The vibe in the office (and on Teams) has shifted significantly. People are either checking out or aggressively polishing their resumes on company time. It feels like we are just holding on until the next quarterly call so leadership can show the street some saved margins. I’m starting to wonder if the long-term play here is just to automate everything and offshore the rest. I’ve been looking elsewhere for a few months, but the market feels sluggish. Anyone else seeing the same patterns, or am I just reading too much into the noise? I really wanted to believe in the direction we were heading, but the transparency just isn't there.
