KeyCorp: Anyone else worried about the economic outlook impacting roles?

With the way interest rates are going and the general economic uncertainty, I'm starting to get a bit nervous about job security at KeyCorp. We're a bank, so we're always sensitive to market conditions, but this feels different. Have there been any recent changes in hiring or project prioritization that suggest a scaling back? I haven't seen any concrete layoff announcements, but the broader economic climate has me wondering if the powers that be are already planning for a leaner year ahead. Anyone in different divisions seeing or hearing anything that might confirm or deny these fears? Would appreciate any insights, even anecdotal ones. Trying to stay optimistic but also realistic.

I'm right there with you. The constant talk about a potential recession and the Fed's aggressive rate hikes definitely puts a damper on things. While I haven't heard anything directly about layoffs or major project cuts at KeyCorp, it's hard not to feel a sense of unease. I've noticed a bit more scrutiny on expenses lately, and fewer new initiatives seem to be gaining traction. It's probably wise to keep an eye on internal communications and industry news for any signs.
