Keysight: Morale seems a bit low lately?

Hey everyone. Been at Keysight for a few years now, and honestly, the vibe has been feeling a bit off for a while. It's not just one thing, but a collection of small things. People seem more guarded, less collaborative. You hear whispers about budgets being tight, projects getting stretched thin, and a general sense of 'wait and see' attitude pervading teams. I haven't heard any concrete layoff news, and my team is still 'fully staffed,' but the underlying current feels different. Is anyone else picking up on this? Feels like a strange tension in the air, like everyone's waiting for something to happen, but nobody knows what. Maybe it's just the industry cycle, or maybe something bigger is brewing. Curious to hear if others are feeling the same way or if I'm just overthinking things.

Yeah, I've definitely picked up on that too. It feels like there's a lot of uncertainty about where things are headed, and it's starting to affect how people approach their work. The constant focus on cost-saving measures, even for seemingly small things, creates a feeling of being undervalued and stretched too thin. It's hard to stay motivated when you feel like you're constantly fighting for resources or justification for everything. It's a shame, because there's a lot of talent here.

I can echo those sentiments. The sense of 'wait and see' is palpable across different departments. While there haven't been major announcements, the subtle shifts in project scope and resource allocation definitely contribute to a less optimistic atmosphere. Team morale is a tricky thing to manage, and it feels like the current climate isn't exactly conducive to fostering a positive and energetic work environment. Hopefully, leadership can address these underlying concerns soon.
