Kinder Morgan - Hearing anything about potential restructuring?

Been seeing a lot of LinkedIn activity from recruiters reaching out to folks in my network who work at KMI. It's usually a sign, but this feels different. Not just for specific roles, but more general inquiries about 'what are you looking for?' and 'open to new opportunities?' This is usually followed by some vague mention of 'market shifts' or 'company transitions.' Haven't seen any official announcements or heard anything concrete about layoffs, but the external recruiter interest is definitely piquing my paranoia. Anyone on the inside get any hints about what might be brewing? Is there a reorganization happening that we haven't been made fully aware of? Just trying to get a sense of the temperature and if I should be updating my own resume, frankly.

Interesting observation about the recruiter activity. It's definitely a subtle signal when you see that uptick, especially if it feels more widespread than usual. 'Market shifts' and 'company transitions' can be corporate speak for a lot of things, so it's understandable why people are getting a bit antsy. Hopefully, it's just business as usual and not indicative of anything major happening behind the scenes. Fingers crossed for those folks.

Yeah, I've noticed similar chatter. It's hard to ignore when multiple people in your circle start getting those same types of feeler messages. While I haven't seen any official news, that kind of broad outreach from recruiters at companies like Kinder Morgan often precedes some kind of organizational change. Let's hope for transparency if anything is indeed brewing.
