Has anyone else felt a slowdown in project approvals or funding recently at KMI? I'm in [mention general area like engineering/planning/operations] and it feels like things are getting tighter. We've had a couple of key initiatives put on indefinite hold, and it's making people nervous. The recent WARN notice is definitely adding to the anxiety. Wondering if these layoffs are a precursor to scaling back on expansion or major new builds. Feels like the market is shifting, but not sure if leadership is reacting appropriately. Anyone have insight into the strategic direction or any upcoming budget reviews that might explain this? Just trying to get a sense of the company's overall health and future outlook.

I've definitely noticed a shift in project pacing here. It's not just you. Seems like the overall market sentiment is creating more caution, leading to some initiatives being re-evaluated or paused. The recent workforce adjustments are concerning, and it's understandable why people are anxious about the long-term direction. Hopefully, this is a temporary recalibration and not a sign of a significant pullback. Fingers crossed we get more clarity soon. This feels like a challenging time for sure.
