KMI - Anyone else seeing the shift in internal priorities?

Hey everyone, been with KMI for a few years now and I'm starting to get a weird vibe. Projects that seemed like sure bets a few months ago are suddenly getting shelved or significantly downsized. It's not just one or two either, it's across a few different divisions I'm aware of. Management's talking about 'strategic realignments' and 'optimizing capital allocation,' which is all corporate speak for 'we don't know what's next.' My team's workload has definitely slowed, and there's a noticeable increase in people polishing up their resumes and having hushed conversations by the coffee machine. Is anyone else seeing this? Or am I just overthinking the usual corporate churn? Trying to gauge if this is a widespread feeling or just my department being out of the loop. Any insights from other parts of the company would be appreciated.

I've noticed similar things. Feels like a lot of uncertainty lately, and the 'strategic realignments' seem to be causing more confusion than clarity. Been hearing whispers about potential divestitures too, though nothing concrete. Hope it's just a temporary phase and things pick up soon. The slowdown is definitely palpable across different departments.

Yeah, the 'optimizing capital allocation' buzzwords aren't fooling many. It's tough when projects you thought were solid get put on the back burner. Makes it hard to plan and stay motivated. Wondering if this is a sign of broader industry shifts or something more specific to KMI's strategy. Curious to see how it plays out.
