Interviewing elsewhere - Any KLA folks have recent experience with recruiters?

So, I'm starting to dust off the resume and poke around. Been with KLA for just shy of 4 years in a customer-facing technical support role. I haven't seriously interviewed in a while and wanted to see if anyone here has had any recent interactions with external recruiters reaching out for KLA-related roles (or roles at competitor companies). How are they playing it? Are they mentioning the current market sentiment at KLA? Any insights on how to best position myself, given the current... atmosphere? Also, any specific interview questions or types of roles that seem to be in demand right now in the semiconductor equipment space? Any advice is appreciated.

Hey, I haven't had direct recruiter contact for KLA specifically recently, but I've been seeing a lot of outreach for similar semiconductor equipment roles. The market feels pretty active, though compensation can be a bit hit or miss depending on the company. My advice? Focus on highlighting your specific customer-facing problem-solving skills and any experience you have with complex technical environments. Quantify your achievements if possible – think about times you improved efficiency or customer satisfaction. That's usually what recruiters latch onto when trying to sell you to a hiring manager. Good luck with the search!

Honestly, I'd be surprised if recruiters were openly discussing internal 'market sentiment' at KLA. Their job is to fill roles, and they often use buzzwords or general industry trends to frame opportunities. If you're getting contacted, it means there's demand for your skillset outside. Don't get too hung up on what they *say* about KLA's internal situation. Instead, use the conversations to gather intel about the companies *they* are recruiting for. What are their pain points? What technologies are in demand? That's the real value in these interactions. Stay focused on your own marketability.
