Yeah, I'm hearing similar themes in my department too. Lots of talk about optimizing resources and aligning teams with strategic priorities. It's definitely creating some unease, as the language feels a bit coded. Hoping it's just standard business jargon and not a precursor to something more significant. Still, it's hard not to overthink it when things feel a bit uncertain. Just trying to focus on delivering strong results and staying visible.
It's understandable why there's tension. 'Evaluating all roles for future needs' can be interpreted in a few ways, and the lack of clear communication doesn't help. I've been trying to remain optimistic and focus on my contributions, but the whispers are hard to ignore.
