Anyone else seeing the Mt. Pleasant cuts impacting other regions?

I’ve been tracking the WARN notices since the Mt. Pleasant news dropped, and it feels like we are seeing a slow-motion cascade rather than isolated incidents. They keep telling us everything is fine at the divisional level, but when you look at the headcount adjustments in Michigan and compare it to the chatter on the floor about store-level hours being gutted, the math just doesn't add up. My manager says it's just 'operational efficiency,' but we all know what that's code for. Are people in other districts seeing this same pattern of silent downsizing, or is Michigan just the canary in the coal mine right now? I’ve been with Kroger for over six years, and I’ve never seen the morale this low. Nobody wants to be the next name on a spreadsheet. Thinking about polishing my resume this weekend just in case. If anyone has intel on whether more corporate support roles are on the chopping block, please share.

We’ve been watching the same patterns here in the Midwest, and it’s definitely not just contained to one facility. Management loves to use the phrase 'right-sizing the workforce' whenever they start slashing hours, but we know it’s just a way to squeeze more labor out of a skeleton crew. It’s hard to ignore the tension in the breakroom when everyone is checking their schedules and seeing fewer shifts than last month. It feels like they are bleeding the stores dry to make the quarterly reports look better for the shareholders before the next round of layoffs hits our division.
