Kroger - Anyone else seeing management changes?

Been with Kroger for a few years now, and the last six months have felt... different. We've lost a few key people in management roles, and instead of replacements, it feels like duties are just being absorbed. Saw a notice the other day about a 'streamlining initiative' and everyone's already on edge. Heard whispers about store consolidations too, though nothing concrete. Just wondering if this is a wider thing or if my division is just going through it. It's definitely impacting morale, feels like we're constantly understaffed and everyone's picking up the slack. Management keeps saying 'efficiency,' but it feels like they're just cutting corners and expecting more from less. Anyone else experiencing similar shifts?

Yeah, my store has had a lot of shake-ups lately too. A couple of department heads have left, and the remaining managers seem completely swamped. They're talking about 'efficiency' and 'restructuring,' but it just feels like more work piled onto fewer people. Morale has definitely taken a hit. People are wondering what's next, and the uncertainty is making everyone anxious. It’s hard to stay motivated when you feel like you’re just treading water and the ship is changing course without anyone telling you where you're going.
