Seeing a lot of chatter online, especially that Mshale article from yesterday about potential layoffs. Anyone have more concrete info? Feels like a lot of smoke and mirrors right now. My store has been quiet for a while, but the mood has been tense. Heard some whispers about restructuring and 'efficiencies' being the buzzwords. Is this a widespread thing, or specific divisions? Trying to get a handle on what's really happening before it hits closer to home. Any department heads or folks in corporate willing to share anything anonymously? It's tough to plan anything when you're in the dark like this.

I've heard similar rumblings through the grapevine at my location. Management has been tight-lipped, but the 'efficiency' talk is definitely circulating. It's creating a lot of anxiety among the staff. Some departments seem to be under more scrutiny than others, which only adds to the uncertainty. Hopefully, we get some official clarification soon rather than just more speculation. The lack of transparency is the worst part; makes it hard to plan or feel secure.
