Lam Research - Management communication post Q2 earnings?

So, Q2 earnings are out, and while the numbers weren't stellar, they weren't a disaster either. However, the communication from leadership about the future, especially regarding resource allocation and headcount, feels a bit vague. My direct manager is being tight-lipped, and town halls haven't really clarified much. Just feels like there's an underlying uncertainty that isn't being directly addressed. Anyone else picking up on this? Trying to gauge if this is company-wide or specific to certain divisions. It's hard to plan when the messaging is so fuzzy.

I'm seeing something similar. The general sentiment in my team is that while day-to-day operations are stable, long-term strategic clarity feels a bit lacking. There's been a lot of talk about 'adapting to market conditions,' but concrete examples or a clear roadmap for how that translates to resource shifts and potential personnel changes are scarce. It creates a bit of an anxious atmosphere when you're trying to plan your own career development or understand where the company is headed.

Yep, definitely feel that disconnect. The official earnings call and subsequent internal comms have been a lot of corporate speak without really digging into the specifics that impact us on the ground. My manager is deflecting questions with 'we'll share more when we can,' which is the least helpful response. It makes it hard to feel confident about future projects or even job security when the big picture isn't clearly painted.
