Lamb Weston: Is anyone else feeling the pinch?

Hey everyone, been with LW for a few years now and lately things feel... different. The usual buzz around the office has definitely quieted down. Been seeing fewer external job postings compared to last year, and some internal projects seem to be getting stretched thinner than usual with the same headcount. Has anyone else picked up on this? Is it just my department, or is there a broader trend? Not hearing any official word, which is almost worse, but the vibe is definitely shifting. Anyone have any insights into what might be going on behind the scenes? Trying to gauge if I should start dusting off the resume or if this is just a temporary lull.

I've noticed something similar in my area. It's hard to put a finger on it exactly, but that general feeling of caution or maybe even a slight slowdown is definitely there. It's the little things, like fewer spontaneous meetings or projects taking longer to get approval. Makes you wonder what's happening behind the scenes, doesn't it? Hopefully, it's just a temporary lull and things will pick back up soon.

Yeah, the vibe has been a bit off lately. I've been trying to rationalize it, maybe it's just the usual end-of-year slowdown or something seasonal. But you're right, the lack of outward signs of growth, like new hires, and the feeling that resources are being stretched are hard to ignore. It's definitely creating a bit of uncertainty, and I agree, the silence from leadership doesn't help matters.
