Las Vegas Sands: Current vibe on jobs?

Hey folks, been with LVS for a few years now, and lately, there's been a low hum of uncertainty. Nothing concrete, no official announcements, but you can feel it in the air. Meetings seem a little more tense, and there's been a noticeable slowdown in hiring for non-essential roles. I've heard a few people in other departments mention 'optimization' and 'streamlining' which, in my experience, is often corporate speak for potential cuts down the line. Just wondering if anyone else is picking up on this, or if it's just the usual end-of-year jitters. Curious to hear what others are seeing, especially in different divisions or properties. Is it just me, or is the general job security feeling a bit shaky at LVS right now? Looking for honest takes, not just corporate spin.

I've been at LVS for a while too, and yeah, I'm feeling that same vibe. It's definitely not the same as it was a couple of years ago. The 'streamlining' talk is making me a bit nervous, especially with some of the recent market shifts. Hoping it's just a temporary thing, but it's hard not to worry when you hear those buzzwords flying around. Keep an ear out for any official updates, I guess.

Interesting to hear others are feeling the same. My department hasn't seen any direct impact yet, but the general atmosphere is definitely more cautious. We've had a few projects put on hold indefinitely, and recruitment for even experienced roles has slowed considerably. It's a tough market out there, and I suppose even the big players feel the pressure. Just trying to stay focused on my work and hope for the best.
