Hey everyone, I'm starting to get a weird vibe around LVS lately, and it's not just the usual Vegas charm. Been hearing whispers and seeing small signs that things might be tightening up more than usual. Saw a few teams that usually hire steadily go silent, and a couple of projects got quietly shelved with little explanation. Anyone else in the hospitality side of things at LVS noticing budget cuts or maybe even a soft hiring freeze? Trying to gauge if it's just my department or something more widespread. Not trying to spread panic, just genuinely curious and a little concerned about what's brewing. Feels like more than just routine seasonal adjustments. What are your observations from the ground?

I've definitely noticed a shift in the atmosphere lately. Things do seem a bit more guarded, and the usual buzz feels a little subdued. It's tough to pinpoint exactly why, but the lack of open communication about certain initiatives and the slower pace on some fronts are hard to ignore. Makes you wonder if the company is bracing for something or just recalibrating. Hopefully, it's a temporary phase and things pick up soon for everyone.

Interesting you bring this up. My department hasn't seen overt cuts, but there's definitely a heightened sense of scrutiny on spending. Approvals are taking longer, and there's more emphasis on demonstrating ROI for any new initiatives. It feels like a more cautious approach overall, which could be a sign of belt-tightening.
