LVS: Anyone else noticing budget cuts or hiring freezes?

Hey everyone, Been with LVS for a few years now and lately, it feels like things are tightening up. Not hearing any official layoff news, but seeing more budget approvals get scrutinized, some travel being limited, and a general slowdown in hiring for non-essential roles. Has anyone else picked up on this? Curious if it's just my department or if there's a wider trend happening across the company. Wondering if this is a precursor to something bigger or just the usual economic jitters. Trying not to jump to conclusions, but the vibe feels a little different than it did even six months ago. Any insights from others who are currently at LVS or recently left would be appreciated. What's the general sentiment where you are?

Yeah, I've definitely felt a shift lately. It's not just you. Approvals are taking longer, and there seems to be more pressure on discretionary spending across the board. I haven't seen any official communication about hiring freezes, but it's harder to get requisitions approved for anything that isn't absolutely critical. It's making resource planning a bit of a headache.

Interesting you bring this up. We're experiencing something similar in our area. Certain projects that were greenlit a few months ago are now under review, and there's definitely a more cautious approach to new initiatives. It's not panic stations yet, but the sentiment is that everyone's being asked to watch their pennies. Hoping it's just a temporary adjustment to market conditions.
